Camille Torres

She/Her

Camille Torres, senior vice president, is a proud Puerto Rican woman who has spent her career building top-tier campaigns in diverse districts across the country. Known for her ability to build broad, winning coalitions, she consistently prioritizes cultural competency and talent diversification in her work. She is deeply committed to assembling teams that are both strategically effective and reflect the values and backgrounds of the Democratic party.

Camille has worked on races across the ballot, from the County Commission and State Legislative seats to the most competitive Frontline Congressional races, helping secure key wins for Democrats across 21 states.

Most recently in 2024, Camille spearheaded the DCCC’s Incumbent Protection Program, a groundbreaking initiative designed to support Democratic Members and candidates through early primaries and into the general election. She collaborated with Democratic partners and allies to win some of the nation’s most competitive races. Her leadership helped flip two key Red-to-Blue seats, hold 5 Democratic seats, and re-elect over 23 Democratic incumbents in competitive races.

Before that, Camille managed Congressman Josh Harder’s 2022 reelection in California’s newly drawn 9th Congressional District – one of the top 10 most expensive House races in the country. With Stockton, the most diverse city in America, at its heart, Camille ran a comprehensive constituency outreach program alongside a strategic paid media campaign to deliver a decisive victory.

Camille is a proud graduate and alumni board member of the Blue Leadership Collaborative, an organization dedicated to recruiting, training, and retaining high-potential Democratic talent that reflects the diversity of the party and the nation.

Camille is an alumna of American University with degrees in Political Science and International Studies. In her spare time, she loves spending time on the beach at home in Puerto Rico or Florida, and trying the many restaurants DC has to offer.
